Every day for at least the last year it seems, we see stories on the news and occasional examples in our own communities that lament the lack of workers for some of our traditional establishments. Cafés, restaurants, gas stations, certain retailers, some in the various labor industries, and more are facing shortages. To be sure, some will claim this among the reasons if their business eventually fails.
The question is, is this a problem that the economy will work out itself or one of darker times to come? Do you think the time will come when all the businesses we love are gone or should we not assume that savvy and popular businesses will find a way to survive? Could this just be a time of transformation in how people spend their money and where, with new businesses to come for those that fail? How do you think this will all play out?
