The American education system is in need of a revamping. Whatever we’re doing now, it’s stuck between new and old and is so unstandardized that the education varies greatly from state-to-state and even town-to-town. Despite a shifting focus to STEM subjects and schooling, the U.S. still falling behind in math and science and is rated low in education overall.

So the question is, what do we do to get back to our ranking in decades prior and ensure the future of the country is in capable hands. Should we just go back to the standards of Math, Reading, Science, History, and English, should we push forward with the STEM track, or should we take a whole new approach that trains us just as much for life as the workplace? These questions are hypothetical, but what are some of the things you think could improve the overall education system?
